The Office of Student Accounts makes providing professional, responsive and efficient service to the students of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College a priority. We are determined to meet this commitment.

We provide financial services that enable the institution to more effectively fulfill our mission of research, teaching and learning, and outreach. We are honored to serve the ABAC campus!

ABAC students are the backbone of our institution. Below are key services we provide specifically to students to help you meet your financial responsibilities while pursuing your educational goals:

  • We assess, bill, and collect your tuition, fees, and other charges.
  • We issue refunds from credit balances on your student account.
  • If your education is being paid for by a third party such as a government or company, we bill the sponsor on your behalf.
  • We assist you with the setup of the ABAC payment plan.
  • We can assist you in setting up a direct deposit for your excess funds.

Cost of Attendance

It is important that you know what types of charges will be on your Student Account. The following links will show you tuition and fees as well as housing and dining costs.

Ways to Pay

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College provides our students and customers with many options for paying student account balances. Two of those are credit and debit cards. ABAC contracts with TouchNet® PayPath for processing debit/credit card payments. Unfortunately, the cost of processing credit and debit cards keeps increasing. Due to these increases, effective May 1, 2023, any payment on a student account (tuition, fees, fines, housing, meal plans, fine, etc.) with a credit or debit card will be assessed a 2.95% or $3.00 minimum processing fee by TouchNet® PayPath.

Please review the details of each payment method and decide which will be most beneficial for you. You must have a payment arrangement in place by the payment due date or your class registration may be canceled.  Below is a link to the Funding Road Map that has helpful steps and deadline dates.

The fee payment deadline for Spring Term 2025 is Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Information for:

Veterans Affairs

The ABAC Office of Student Accounts serves as a liaison between the school and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) regarding VA Education Benefits. Our goal in serving VA students is to certify the enrollment of students using VA Education Benefits to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All eligibility for education benefits is determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs and not ABAC.

Waivers (Tuition and Fees)

Tuition waivers are considered to be financial assistance and are awarded by the Office of Admissions.  Tuition waivers must be processed by the fee payment deadline, or you will be required to choose another method to pay your balance. Certain students may be eligible for other types of tuition waivers or waiver of mandatory fees.

Refunds

If your student account shows a credit balance, you may be entitled to receive a refund. The first set of Financial Aid refunds will be direct deposited on September 5, 2024. Please note if direct deposit is not set up your refund processing will be delayed. First-time loan borrowers’ excess funds will be direct deposited by September 26, 2024.

General Dollars Refund Requests Students are allowed to request a refund of General Dollars if the account balance is $10.00 or more.  Simply complete the General Dollars Refund Request below.
