Why is ABAC Orientation Important?

ABAC Orientation is so much more than a campus tour. During Orientation, you’ll:

• Meet other new students and begin building the friendships that will last through your time at ABAC and beyond.
• Discover the campus and the events, activities, organizations, and services that ABAC has to offer. 
• Talk with faculty and staff members who will be teaching, guiding, and helping you as you pursue your academic goals
• Gain a better understanding of the personal and financial responsibilities of attending college.
• Complete the important business of getting ready for your ABAC experience: getting a campus ID card (Gold Card), meeting with Housing, visiting Financial Aid and Student Accounts, and reviewing your first semester’s class schedule.

Most of all, you’ll start to understand ABAC’s culture of integrity, stewardship, excellence, innovation, and community engagement.

A student is registered for classes based on their acceptance and submission of all required admission documents. You may find your outstanding documents at admit.abac.edu.

Once the required documents are received, the student will receive additional information to their ABAC email address with next steps. You will need to complete all of these requirements prior to attending Orientation if you wish to receive a class schedule on or before your Orientation day!

*Incoming transfer students with 30 or more credit hours may complete their orientation online but may also attend an in-person orientation if they wish.
